Good Girls on NBC is a hilarious, intense, addictive drama that will have you hooked from the very beginning.

The TV show follows three suburban Detroit moms that turn to a life of crime to make ends meet and provide for their families. The show starts out with lifelong friends Beth Boland (Christina Hendricks), Annie Marks (Mae Whitman) and Ruby Hill (Retta) robbing a grocery store to ease their financial struggles. Ruby has a daughter with cancer who requires expensive treatment that they can’t afford, Beth has a cheating husband who lost their money at his car dealership, and Annie is a single mom who dropped out of high school when she got pregnant and works at the grocery store that they decide to rob.

The group gets more than they bargained for though when they discover that the grocery store they robbed was being used to launder money and end up with an angry gang leader and his thugs in their kitchen.

To avoid getting murdered, they agree to help the gang launder money and it only gets crazier from there.

Lies, secrets, and betrayal follow suit as the women make mistake after mistake and end up deeper in debt than when they started out.

Even though you’ll probably find yourself yelling at your TV as they continue to make stupid decisions, you can’t help but get drawn into the complex lives of the main characters as you click ‘next episode’ multiple times in one sitting to find out what kind of crazy trouble the ladies got themselves into now.

Good Girls balances the criminal drama with humor and heart, add to that Beth’s explosive chemistry with the gang leader Rio (Manny Montana) and you’ve got a real winner.

Seasons 1-3 of Good Girls are now available on Netflix and their 4th season is set to premiere on Sunday, March 7th on NBC.
