It’s hard to talk about this series without delving into spoilers, but I’m going to try to do just that.

Behind Her Eyes is a 6-episode mini series that follows Louise (Simona Brown) as she starts an affair with her new boss David (Tom Bateman) while simultaneously becoming friends with his wife Adele (Eve Hewson).

The series is intentionally confusing and unsettling at times, which only adds to the mystery and keeps you guessing.

Throughout the 6-episode roller coaster, the watcher is constantly trying to figure out who’s good, who’s bad and what secrets David and Adele are hiding.

Not only is the acting excellent, and the casting flawless, the cinematography is beautiful and helps to set the tone of the show. It also doesn’t hurt that Tom Bateman is easy on the eyes.

As the series progresses, some things become clearer but you’re often left with more questions than answers as an episode ends, which keeps you pressing ‘next episode’ to find out what exactly is going on.

Without ruining the ending, I will admit that I did not see that final twist coming and it was an ending that stuck with me long after the end credits rolled.

If you haven’t watched Behind Her Eyes yet, please go watch it so we can talk about that ending and all of the surprising twists and turns along the way.

All 6 episodes of Behind Her Eyes are now streaming on Netflix.
